Description
Needle roller bearings use small, cylindrical rollers. Needle roller bearings and roller bearings have a different ratio of diameter and length of the rollers.
If the ratio of the diameter and the length of roller of the bearing is between the intervals of 0.1 to 0.4, the roller bearing is now a needle roller bearing by definition.
Needle roller bearings are especially useful to reduce the amount of friction of a rotating surface.
